Lauran Childs is an English pop artist in Miami who loves living here. She does murals - http://www.miamimurals.net for both business and home, portraits - www.PortraitWithYourPet.com - and her own range of personal art at www.LauranChilds.com .
When in England Lauran focussed on oil portraits but here in Miami - given humidity conditions - Lauran paints in acrylic on canvas. She also has an interesting range of multimedia projects which include cabuchons and sequins (see www.LauranChilds.com). Projects in Miami have included album covers and presently she frequently travels through America doing murals, but prefers living and working in Miami.
Well travelled and very comfortable in with many cultures, Lauran enjoys the exuberant Latin culture in Miami, particularly salsa and samba dancing, and that spirit of joy in life is very strong in the vibrant colors and positive feeling of her paintings - Art That Makes You Feel Good.
